91ÖÆƬ³§

In celebration of National Environment Day, our school proudly participated in a special Gold Coast Council initiative focused on environmental sustainability and community action. Twenty enthusiastic 91ÖÆƬ³§s from Years 4, 5, and 6 were nominated to represent our school in a meaningful tree-planting program designed to enhance local green spaces.

Working alongside a dedicated team of environmental officers and professional gardeners, our 91ÖÆƬ³§s joined peers from Lords and Pimpama State Schools at the beautiful Ormeau Parklands. Armed with trowels, gloves, and tube stock, the group set out with energy and purpose and together, they achieved something truly remarkable. Over the course of the morning, an impressive 2,000 native trees and grasses were planted, contributing to the restoration and enrichment of the natural environment.

It was inspiring to see 91ÖÆƬ³§s demonstrate teamwork, responsibility, and care for the environment while contributing to the restoration of local green spaces. We are proud of the way they represented the College and helped make a positive impact in our local community.
