We are very proud of one of our outstanding Music 91制片厂s, Michelle H., for her most recent achievement.
In her own words:
鈥Earlier this week, I sat the LMusA (Licentiate in Music diploma), one of the highest levels of piano examinations available (comparable to a Bachelor of Music degree), and I am incredibly grateful to share that I received a Distinction.
The preparation was a long and demanding process, not only requiring hours of practice across six pieces ranging from the Baroque era to the 20th century, but also an extensive knowledge of music history and theory.
There were moments when I genuinely felt like giving up, and it was in those moments that I was reminded of how supportive and encouraging King's teachers have been throughout this journey.
I believe this result is a collective achievement and a reflection of the dedication of everyone who walked alongside me.
More than anything, this experience has taught me that meaningful achievements are built through perseverance, the right support, and faith.
To anyone working towards something that feels out of reach, I hope this shows you that anything and everything is possible!
Yours sincerely,
Michelle鈥
The comments from Michelle鈥檚 examination panel reflect just what an impressive young musician she is:
鈥The entire programme from memory, without errors, was an impressive feat. The playing demonstrated an uncommon level of technical mastery, stylistic insight, and interpretive depth and maturity in one so young.
It was certainly of concert standard and was a real delight and privilege to witness and enjoy.
The panel has no hesitation in making an Award with Distinction and conveys its best wishes for future development.鈥
Congratulations, Michelle, on this truly exemplary achievement.聽
