Year 3 launched their exciting new Science unit, Wonder Lab Scientists, with a fun-filled morning of Minute to Win It challenges designed to spark curiosity, encourage teamwork, and inspire scientific thinking. Students rotated through eight hands-on activities, including Jelly Wobble Races, Bubble Blast, Sponge Sprints and Ice Rescue, as they observed, questioned and explored the fascinating world of materials and how they change.
From rescuing frozen treasures and racing jelly cubes to building towers and creating bubbles, the morning was filled with laughter, discovery and plenty of excitement. It was a wonderful opportunity for our young scientists to celebrate God's amazing creation while beginning their investigation into an important question: Why do some materials change while others stay the same?
